Support & Advocacy Worker
Pay: Up to £25 per hour for 5 hours a week over three years
Local community group, Lee Green Lives, seeks experienced and qualified worker to provide support including advice and advocacy for a diverse community of people needing information and help with wide range of issues including housing, benefits and other life crises. Personal, writing, record-keeping and digital communication skills required. Must also have experience of working with people with mental health problems. DBS check required.
This is a key post within the framework of a popular and well-used local Community Centre. Flexible working hours, based at community centre and/or from home if remote provision needed because of Covid-19.
Status: Self-employed. Pay: Depending on experience, up to £25 per hour for 5 hours a week; Duration: 3 years.

Local community group, Lee Green Lives, is looking for volunteers who want to support groups for a diverse community. Activities and services range from healthy exercises and computer classes to sewing and literacy classes, as well as advice sessions for people with benefits, housing and other issues.
Potential volunteers should have person/caring skills or admin/digital skills. Flexible hours, based at community centre and/or from home if remote support needed because of Covid-19. Travel and lunch expenses provided.
